Informatics Studies has expanded its scope to include new interdisciplinary areas such as Health informatics, Agricultural Informatics, AI-driven Information Systems, and Human–Computer Interaction, along with its existing focus on Digital Libraries, Cultural Informatics, and Knowledge Management, starting from Volume 12, Issue 3 (July–September 2025). This update reflects emerging research trends and recent special issues, and aims to foster broader scholarly contributions.

Informatics studies has  un-published online versions of the journal from for the period  from 2014 to 2021.  Issues since january 2022 only will be available online. If subscribers have not requested for refund of  subscription  for online version  they are requested to complete the process before 30th June 2023 on the failure of which their subscriptions will be treated as subscritpion for print version.
