Application of Informatics for Mediation of Intangible Heritage Within the Erasmus+ Project for Education and Training Amidst the Digital Shift

Abstract


Education and training are integral components of any strategy aimed at conserving Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH). By fostering understanding, transmission, and active participation within communities, education and training efforts will contribute to the sustainable safeguarding and promotion of cultural diversity and the rich tapestry of human heritage. In this context the present paper describes the main results of the Erasmus+ project “iNTANGIBLE: Digitizing Intangible Cultural Heritage Amidst the Digital Shift”, implemented by Moldova National Museum Complex the national agency of Romania in association with other agencies with the support of European Union under the key action 2, cooperation partnerships, in the field of vocational education and training. The author also focuses on the partnership, on the strong points of each partner and their contribution to the project describing also related concepts and terminologies..
